Can anyone advise me ? please!! My car starts and cuts out after a few seconds, its not petrol for definate,could it be fuel related? The car has never let me down starting.

How sure are you regards the fuel? get a few rags drop them around the manifold, take the in-line fuel pipe off & try the car "once" that should eliminate one source. Is it derv? have you run out of fuel? (Air Lock) Is there fuel in the car?

Is it some sort of immobiliser?

Thanks for the reply!! The rac came out tryed for 45mins and still got no joy, I got some more petrol this morning and fingers crossed its going again!! Thanks again.

I know we all try to save money Ezzanda " BUT" LOL they will not run without fuel or the Gases in the fuel lines.
