ford fiesta radio code????

Hi ive had my car in the garage this week and i havent got the code for the radio, can anyone help me please? its a fiesta (R reg) 5 door, its a factory casette player the model number is 3000 and serial is m259483????? please help

I just had the same problem and I tryed to go through main dealers but I was told the car was too old and i would have to pay �15. for them to try to trace the code .So I just took it to my local radio repaire /auto electrical shop and had it decoded. �10.

Did the garage ask you if you had the code before taking the Battery lead off? ( I presume they did this) they should have asked you first so they could have used an alternative method as not to loose the code, ask them to recode the radio as it was their fault that you lost it, Unless it is something other that what you say.
