please help me with my ford radio unlock code

i have a ford focus, which has just had an mot, on doing the work, the battery has been disconnected, ford dealer wants to charge me �15 to unlock it, this is way outta my budget, im a student, please can someone out there help. make is FD500N and serial number is M377046. many thanks in advance to anyone who can help me. matt

hi there have u got all the books etc that came with the car, there should b a book and in the first few pages there is a code to enter and how to do it

Ford dealers pay alot of money to recieve the information from Ford, hence the reason for the charge. There was software that claims to work the code out but it was very unreliable - you usually see this advertised online for just a few pounds.
I work at a Ford dealer and can get it for �8 if that's any good?
