steering creaking when turned to the left on vw golf gti 1996

hi i have a vw golf gti 2.0 8 valve, steering was creaking when turned in both direction, i replaced 2 front struts and mounts, coil springs, and drained the power steering fluid tank and refiilled it, Now its only creaking when turned to the left and i can hear grinding on the passsenger side, Does any1 have a suggestion??

or most probably a ball joint/track rod end now dry of grease and now starting to seize up.
