Peugot 307CC Bonnet stuck?

The lever will not move to open the bonnet and it all seems very stiff....any ideas on how to get it open

ask somebody to hit the bonnet above the latch while you pull the handle,then lubricate thoroghly before closing.

The problem with these locks are due to Cable Slip just behind the Front Grill, you have to take off the plastic cover over the lock mechanism, look closely at the cable & you can see where it should be, Get some one to work the inside handle then you can see the problem, It's a simple job to work out.
