Laguna brakes

Can anyone help in releasing the autolock on the rear brake drum on my Renault Laguna. I have just fitted new disc /bearing plate on both sides but autolock came on when I switched on ignition. Of course the manual lever link under the dash /bonnet which is supposed to get you out of this problem does not work thanks
