removing a scratch on a laquered car!
3 Answers
I have had some1 scratch my silver car. the paint has a laquered layer on top of the paint. the scratch has removed the laquer but not scratched too deeply so it's just the laquer that needs levelling/filling - can any1 recommend a way to fix this - it's not gone down to the metal so it's just an unsightly key scratch??

It's very simple and you can find someone to do it perhaps through your mechanic or dealer. If you're not concerned with it looking perfect then go with the bottle of polish and rag and do it yourself. Again, wherever you go to buy the stuff just ask the man who works there what product is best.
I have had my car scratched. It is only an inch and doesnt seem deep. I have an imperial blue car, and I can see white which seems obvious in comparison to the area around the scratch. It is a metallic paint car. I have so far ordered touch up paint from ford which is an exact match for the colour of the car.
Does anyone know any solutions to remove the scratch, and is it bad?
