In-Car Stereo Advice
3 Answers
Hi there, I have recently bought a Ford Fiesta Flight 2001, but the radio is totally dead on it. I'm wanting to put in a new music system and would like some advice?
What should I look for in a player?
What should I look for in speakers? (I have 2 front speakers in car obviously, but would like rear speakers, not so bothered about a sub.)
Few things I would like:
To be able to connect my iPod to the system
To be able to remove front of player for security.
Thanks!

I'd get an Alpine system as the sound quality is excellent - although you might want to update your speakers.
The ipod connection is fabulous and unlike some systems, it will actually charge the ipod too while its in use.
If your budget will stretch, not only can you have the ipod connected but you can get a really good bluetooth connection for them too.
As with most things, the more you can afford the better the system will be, but defo go Alpine.
Count yourself lucky too.. I just got a brand new Volvo, awesome stereo but the standard aux connection for the ipod is shockingly poor - it reduces the volume and doesn't charge the ipod up. The upgrade is over 400 just for the ipod connection !!!!!! Not likely ! I'll stick to CD's....
Mikie.
