Problem with daeler part 2
did ask if we could bring it back in a week to rectify all of this which we agreed as leaving it at this point meant changing the insurance back again etc etc. Within this week it developed a squeak from the drivers wheel and leaked oil quite badly, i took it back the next week and after a couple of days picked it up and all the problems were sorted. Two weeks later we were setting off on a Sunday trip out with all family in tow, the check engine light came on so within the hour with day out spoiled i took it back to the dealer, he said to leave it with him, which we did and then picked it up on the following Tuesday with problem fixed. Two weeks later we set off on a camping holiday to the lakes, after 400 miles on the way home the light came on again, back to the dealer it went, two days later got it back again, problem fixed again. Three weeks later light came on again back to the dealer who replaced a part (allegedly) light was out (again) sorted. Last week the light came on again, now i have some mechanical knowledge and do know that if the light keeps coming on and you dont rectify the problem the problem keeps coming back until its done, so i picked it up again tonight, the engine light was out but out completely, it doesent even come on with the ignition as it should on the first key notch and the airbag light isnt working now either, in my opinion the cheeky dealer has had the bulbs taken out. I forgot to mention that when the door was painted etc i had to ask them to regas the aircon as well, which they did. Its not cost me anything yet just the time and inconvenience. Im getting pretty sick of being fobbed off, what can i do?
