Peugeot 307 fuel starvation

My 2004 Peugeot 307 HDI occasionally appears to be starved of fuel. The instant solution is to turn of the ignition and restart the car, though sometimes it corrects itself unaided. The car is fully serviced but the fault is never present when I call to the dealer. Any ideas?

Faulty Electric fuel cut off valve, check the connections Lacmag at the pump.
