can i still drive with one wing mirror?

i still have the drivers wing mirror, but the passengers side of the wing mirror got struck off today by a massive truck who drove passed me today. Can i still drive the car or will i get stopped by the police? :(

You are required by law to have two rear view mirrors in total. one of them has to be the drivers side "wing mirror" the second one can be either a passenger side "wing mirror" OR the internal rear view mirror.

So it depends on which mirror you've had knocked off.

If it's the passenger side, then as long as you have a usable internal rear view mirror, that's...

if it's the drivers side you need to get it replaced ASAP as it's illegal to drive your car without it.

thanks chuck, i'll need to get it sorted soon but needs to go via insurance, cos the doors dented, and a great big scratch

LOL, as I said I didn't read the question (just the title)

Passenger side then just wait until the insurance sorts it out (as long as you have a usable rear view mirror stuck on the inside of your windscreen)
