My electrics keep blowing when the oven is on for over 30 minutes, does anyone have any suggestions whether this would be a fault with the oven or the electrics?
thanks

If it only happpens with the oven my guess is that, tht is what is causing it. Some sort of power surge after 20 minutes. Need to get it checked out by an electrician.
its the cooker tripping the electrics get it checked out or you could check the socket box behind the cooker to see if any wires are loose.

are you my neighbour he has the same problem???
Is it popping an RCD breaker that you switch back on or blowing a fuse?
If it's tripping an RCD breaker it's likely that the element is on the way out and the steam from the cooking inside the oven is allowing an electric short circuit to earth.
I agree with iggle. Cooker elements are never guaranteed leakage free so there may be a slight short to earth when it gets hot and this trips out you breaker. If this is the case it's time for a new element.
Hi Rhoda,

does the oven trip blow on its own or does the main trip blow?

Regards
Get the oven serviced, looks like it's overloading.
