Rear washer access

Can anyone describe to me the method of getting into the innards of the tailgate on a '06 VW Polo. I cannot see any obvious screws or any other method of fixing. (too scared to just pull it to bits). The reason I need into it is because the washer pipe is loose and water is leaking out of the tailgate rather than getting scooted all over the window. Any help appreciated, thanks.

This happened to my Astra, and the only solution I have found is not to wash the rear window.

Yes, that is where we are at the moment, but keep forgetting and scooting the bloody thing. The boot is sailing!

Hi, there should be a pul off black cardboard cover on the tailgate, they are normally fitted with pop in plastic studs, look around the cover, can you see any? put a knife blade into the cover a pop out the plastic studs, they should be simple to remove.

The two screws in the recessed pull downs. the rest are clips.
