Vectra fan/blower problem

Our 2005 Vectra will only blow, on setting number 4 setting, nothing happens on 1, 2 or 3. On number 4 blowing, only warm air comes out, no cold or cool air at all. Probably something simple!

Its the resistor that is faulty, this controls voltage to the motor, could not say how much they are new but i bought one recently from a breakers yard for £10, very easy to do yourself.

Yep ... Inside heater plenum casing near motor .. OR behind front panel.
Usually looks like a very large TV resistor.
