Renault Lagoona
Thinking of buying a '55'plate 2L .Looks a nice car ,but what are they like to own and run. I've currently got a mondeo 2.5L .
Any helpfull advice would be great.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Big Renaults can be tempermental and expensive to maintain... but the Laguna is comfortable quiet and smooth running....although 2L may be a bit underpowered especially if you are used to a 2.5l We've got a 3L Vel Satis the car's mostly fine and very comfy, if a little eccentric the computer is a bit odd and needs resetting regularly, a problem friends have also had with their renaults
Also be warned, we had a problem with our in-car stereo and in-car satnav, couldn't get them fixed except by a main dealer, We've had issues with Renault UK Birmingham quoting for what seem to be unneccesary repairs etc (Apparently we need a new engine and new gearbox....£12,000 car was fine in the Welsh mountains so we think not...)
