turbocharger problem - can i run without turbo ?
Hi all, i have a vectra 2.0 turbo (petrol) i suspect my turbo seals are blown due to smoke entering exhaust and combustion chamber, if i remove the vacuum piupe to de-activate the turbo, and blank off the oil feed pipe, will i get any excess oil pressure problems ? or do i need to divert the oil feed back to the sump ?
Id like to try this to confirm diagnosis and to be able to use the car temporarliy until i source a new turno.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Phil
