cheap car for dogs?

Please can anyone give some suggestions? we have around £4000 to spend, looking for a car that is cheap to own/run that is practical for 2 dogs.

Get a 2CV. Just the job for poodling around in.

For 4 grand you shouldbe able to get a 2006/2007 Chevvy or 2005/2006 higher mile diesel 307sw (about 50mpg). You could also look at a Kia Rio if you want 'cheap'
