Are you concerned not being able to see the bonnet of your car when you are driving ?

A colleage of mine changed his car but was complaining that he was unable to see the bonnet of his new car, compared to his previous one .

I must say , it has never been an issue for me - i can judge how close i am to another car/ object , without being able to see the bonnet , from my normal driving position .

Not at all....It takes about 1 day to get used to the size of your car imo...

I'm sure he'll get used to it, but should have taken a test drive if that's his concern.

I can't see the bonnet of my car, but I'm a demon driver ;o)

If he can't see the bonnet I think plod can dispense with the breathalyser. :)

if hes that bothered get front parking sensors fitted, i often drive different models of Mercs (perk of my job) and some of the bonnets on these can be quite daunting.

Why didnt the person put a cushion under his @rse, it would have been cheaper.

i have a bit of a problem with my bonnet as its curved, not like my old one, so even after a year, i think i am near to the car in front, only to get out an find i am way off...

its not big issue though so i havent bothered to figure it out

i might get some sort of chrome figurine on the front so i can tell haha

as long as you can see the back of the car in front it doesn't matter if you can see your own bonnet.Just stop before the back of the car in front is out of sight (ie in your front bumper).
