Can't you open it with the key? if my fob isn't working, I can just unlock it.

You should pop off the cover on the passenger door handle trim and look to see if there is a keyhole. If so, try that.
Another way is to charge power through towbar power lead at the socket.

i locked my keys in my xr2 years ago, i pulled the rubber strip from the top of door, pulled the door skin back slightly and i could just get my hand in to pop the door pin to get the door open, put it all back together and took under a minute.
