Lagging for condensate pipe
2 Answers
Getting ready for winter! What can I use to lag the outside run of the condensate pipe from my combi boiler? Its only a few inches but still froze last winter and I dont want to be constantly going outside with hot water. Last year I wrapped an old towel round it which worked but there must be something better. Would ordinary foam pipe lagging work outside? Thanks!

It would need carving (shaping) to fit round the pipe and could be tied in situ.
You could also tie a bit of flexible cloth material over the end of the pipe to stop the cold wind from entering but which would not affect or interrupt the water from leaving the pipe.
