Another complex multi-gimmick puzzle, but leading to an unambiguous result (although 10D also solves with the wrong gimmick). There's a lot of work that's gone into this, some of which I am yet to unpick, as I didn't use the Type B, C and D results to complete it. Some great clues in the mix, too. Thanks Tringa!

Oh, 10D's not wrong in the least, it just has an alternative. I went through B, C and D just now - I'm glad I didn't have to solve it through that route.

Quite a chewy puzzle this week with plenty to do. Two of my "A type" entries were, in fact, initially wrong but did fit the cryptic element of the clue.

Some tough clues throughout. It took a while to ensure they were all understood (31dn being one of the last despite knowing it couldn't be anything else!).

Really excellent puzzle which must have taken a huge amount of work to set. 
Keeping track of the clue sets was hard work and, having been doing the Listener for 16 years, I really should know the difference between clue and answer.
