Holding the tripometer button for 2 to 3 secs resets the "insp" to ----. When the service is due the car with spanner light comes on indicating service is due. If this is not reset, then the next indication is that at start if ignition the odometer shows "insp" inspection but goes off on start of the engine but the car/spanner light remains on untill the engine reaches certain temperature. My question is how do you reset this light? Major Maj

Your question is a bit confusing but I think you want to reset your mileage to next service?

On my Renault the procedure is to cycle through the computer until the Mileage to next sevice is shown then to press the select button and hold until you hear a beep, the mileage should then be reset.

It could be entirely different on your car but give it a try.

I presume your car has been serviced before you do this!
