is it illegal to park builders vehicals on a residential street?

we are having problems with a neighbour parking his trade wagons on our street causing difficulty in manovering,parking and an ambulance had to wait for 10 mins while the person in question was found and notified.can any one advise if there are any laws against this.thank you for your help.tabby and andy

This is something you'd have to take up with your local council or even the county council, they all have different bye-laws.
I know some councils don't allow trade (or sign written) vehicles to be parked in residential areas.

what typeof vehicles are they? if they are wagons, (hgv), they are under very strict rules, by vosa( vehicle operator services authority). hgvs must have a place to park, off the public highway when not being operated.
vans, may be a bit trickier. your probably best going to see the council. see what they say.
