our neighbour has a horsebox which he uses as storage.it is left all day and night parked on the road directly opposite our house.Is there a law with regards to this..

If it is a trailer not attached to a vehicle it is not legal.

If so let us know and I will find the link to a recent question on trailers.

its a horse box not trailer but it is being used as storage.
If it is taxed it can stay there permanently providing it is not parked in an 'illegal' place such as too close to a junction, brow of a hill, yellow lines....
hgvs are not permitted to park in residential areas so it depends a lot on its plated weight.

also the deeds of some properties exclude the parking of commercial vehicles trailers and caravans on or near properties this would require a visit to a solicitor

maybe worth a check
