I know this maybe in the wrong category but it is motor related I would be very grateful for any info/advice on buying a RHD 2 berth with shower not to big engine 2 letre diesel also what essentials for security do you need,what if any are the problems if you go abroad with motor homes thanks for any replies,Tez

Buy the biggest engine one you can afford,I bought a two litre and found it ok on the flat but underpowered on hills this becomes frustrating on long trips and you are supposed to be relaxing and enjoying your holiday also the fuel consumption is hardly any different sometimes even better. Traveling abroad is great but I always stayed in camp sites for peace of mind,join the motor caravanners club ,they offer all kinds of advice you need

Hi granfive thanks for advice I shall be in touch with the relevant touring body, you hear so many do and donts just I thought there may be some golden rules to look out for as you say one of course is plan your rout from site to site to prevent over night road sides thanks again Tez
