mpg modern double decker?

how much mpg does a modern double decker bus unladen do?-i reckon no more than 10mpg

It has one of the london articulated buses at 4mph absolute, 288 mpg per passenger fully loaded so it starts to beats most cars at about 15% full (assuming single occupancy in a car doing 40mpg about town)

Of course some like the Dennis Enviro 500 are now using hybrid engines

I drive a brand new bus and double decker and it does between 7 and 14 MPG
