which marine science?
2 Answers
i know i want to do a marine science when i'm older but can't decide which one, plus descriptions of jobs vary from source to source.
i am planning on doing a level maths biology chemistry and geography and want a marine science that includes biology and geography, prefrably something that envolves traveling eg studying migration patterns. i know that there probably isn't a marine science specific to studying migration but which marine science do i need to go into to specialise in migration?
i would have googled it ect but couldn't think of a short enough phrase to type in.

You can go on visits, read their prospectus, speak to course directors and find out which course will suit you. Also, you may find that a biology or similar undergrad degree is the way to go and then do a PhD in Marine science; a PhD is usually the way to go for a career in science as your career is often research based.
Usually Unis that do such a degree are located on the coast, so that might narrow your search. You can look at the UCAS website and they let you search by degree title etc. and it gives some course descriptions.
