We've always had good service from Green Flag.
Broke down one Sunday whilst on holiday near Nottingham. They collected us and the car and took us back to our caravan caravan site and the came back on Monday to take us to the nearest dealer for repairs. Excellent sevice.

For my own cover I have the AA, and for my works van I have the RAC. Both of them have turned up within half an hour when needed. So as far as I am concerned, one is as good as the other.
Just a few of months ago the AA sent me my renewal for £168. I immediately phoned them and said they had made a mistake, as the renewal price was way over the top.
I told them that the RAC wanted £78 to give me the same level of cover that were offering.
The AA rep then said that was for new customers only ... I then pointed out that I would be a new customer when I left the AA.
Bottom line is he offerd me the cover for £78 ... that was a saving of £90 just for asking.
Go through Quidco or Top Cash Back and you will save approx £50 and end up with your cover for under £30.
RAC for me, they were brilliant and even took me to return a battery to the shop because it was faulty and couldn't be used in the car.
same as alavahalf: the AA quoted a huge renewal fee, I called them up and said the RAC was much cheaper, they immediately matched the RAC price.
