Anybody see this? 39 points and still driving! Might be an idea to stay out of Wiltshire.

I once knew a chap with 13 points but 39! You'd have to wonder how the driver managed to not get banned. When the number of points for an offence would take the driver over 12 it's a court appearance so on that basis a magistrate must have accepted that a ban would cause hardship etc etc up to 9 times! Madness, does nothing to allay the public perception that magistrates occupy a different reality!

If a ban was going to cause so much hardship shouldn't the driver have moderated his behaviour?

yes sandy but I'm trying to get my head round how a magistrate swallowed it 9 times.
