radio control car for my son

i have a radio control carthat i cant get to work its a merc benz that is 13 inch wide and 28 inch long
wen i got the car from a carboot sale i got no radio gear with it and no battery as there is ni manufacor on the car i dont know how to get new radio gear or battery from can sumone plse help me ?????????????

That's an enormous car RC car!

Are you sure it's meant to be battery powered and not nitro?

Anyhow, RC gear is pretty standard, you'll need a 2 or 3 channel transmitter and receiver and a couple of servos, I'd recommend 2.4GHz radio equipment everytime these days.

Other than that are you able to post a picture of the car? and somebody may be able to help a little more.
