Car lease short term

Does anyone know of any comapanies that will offer a short term car lease, from approximately 28 to 40 days? I am a contractor and only get back to the UK occasionally and my car sits on the drive deteriorating for most of the year, so I was wondering whetther to maybe sell it and try the lease option when required?

The only way you'd do it would be a rental deal. Any of the car rental companies will do this, but my experience is that you'll get a better deal from a small local company. Another thing you might try is to see what kind of deal you can get through your airline. You might expect to pay about £150 per week for a small medium car. Say £600 for four weeks to include everything except fuel - depreciation, RFL and insurance. Must be cheaper than taxing and insuring a car for a year.

my bro-in-law brought his car in from the US for $600 landed at Southampton (a Merc 600).....so work out the economics viz renting if you are over here for say 2 to 3 months as you can drive around on foreign plates......

Keeping your whole situation in mind definitely the option of short term car lease is perfect & yes of course you will get any relevant company for the lease with so many companies providing these type of services now a days but just make sure you search well online before finalizing with any of them for being sure of its reliability.
