If the car only has four physical seats then no, and your insurance won't cover you for carrying more people than the car was designed to carry.
as far as i know, if the car is built as a 4 seater then you cannot put 5 people into it. a 107 is a tiny car, would all the children need boosters and child seats etc too? that adds to the room required.

it is small but i've had 2 adults sitting comfortablely in the back. I think your right though i need boosters for all of them, i was just wondering if there was one big one that has three indival seatbelts on it. I didn't think there would be :-( thankyou for your answer though.
You cannot carry more people than the number of seats in the car, no matter how big the seats or how small the people.
Don't even consider it.
You certainly won't be insured and you may be prosecuted.
I remember thays when nobody batted an eyelid about how many people were in the car. We had an estate but would need to fit in it 2 adults, 7 kids and 2 dogs. Me and my brother would always be sat happily in the boot. I remember braking down on the motorway once gettin towed off by the police, who couldn't give a monkeys about our seating arrangements. Not that I'm saying it's right, just wasn't that long ago.
I remember driving home from the pub after a few too many frequently and the police not batting an eyelid.
That wasn't so long ago either.
Times change, we must change.

lol mily, i can remeber sitting in the back of a van with my sister when i was a little girl and we got thrown around everywhere!! I think it is right that they've become stricter with rules on wearing seatbelts as they really do save lives. I just wanted a safe way to drive the children around which obulessly obulesly doesn't exist. :-( looks like it will be the bus for us :-(
Agreed, you wouldn't dream of putting a child in a car and not strapping them in somehow now would you.

Enjoy the bus - which will undoubtedly have no seatbelts. ;o)
i remember when there was a bad car accident and it was claimed that overcrowding of the car was a large factor. Its not worth the risk now that people are aware of those risks.

only options are walk or get a slightly bigger car.
Not worth trying it - it will be unsafe and illegal - but on a funnier side

think world record is 23?
If you get round to changing your car, i'd still watch out re the rear seat belts - I had a 5 seater but the middle rear seat belt was only a lap belt so I wouldn't take a child in that either so it was still effectively a 4 seater :o(. You also need to watch out for rear head restraints. Sometimes you only get two (or none at all!) - it doesn't matter too much if you have a full height car seat, but once they are in a booster, as they get taller, their heads are above the level of the seat and are at risk of damaging their necks in an impact.

thankyou for all your answers, i really love it and i don't think i'd be able to park a bigger one!! so don't think i'll be chnging it. i don't need to take 4 children all the time so i don't think it's a big worry, just would of been nice to have the option to.
pmsl tony, that's just crazy, i think i would of had a panic attact if i was one of those people
milly 143 my 6 yrold daughter keeps asking me why there are no seat belts on a bus?um i say i dont know.
