I do a fair amount of travelling and the roads in that county are the worst I have ever come across. Tory cutbacks, tory council probably says it all.

Councils spending loads of money on stuff we don't want ..
Bin issues ... Inspectors for this and that .. Administering fines on householders for various things (including breathing)
Paying ridiculous retirement benifits and golden handshakes.
(One in Northants received £1 million .... and he was not remembered for being any good at his job)
