I want to buy a Mercedes Benz SLC 450 (late 70's- early 80's) and I was wondering how much I should pay for one, I don't mind doing a little work. Is there anything I should look out for and is there any dealers etc in London. Cheers.

I did actually consider getting one last year as a boys toy and looked at a couple. I believe they do rust and should check out the underneath, sills and wheel arches.

I have just seen another one in Clacton :-
