We currently have a Chrylser Grand Voyager but it is too big for everyday use and it is rubbish in the snow (well I am, thinking ahead here as boy #1 goes to secondary in September and it is 8 miles away on country roads and I might have to go and get him if it starts snowing.) Currently considering a Volvo XC90 and a new style (but used) Land Rover Discovery (where the seats in the boot come out of the floor so there is leg room in the floor wells). We have had an 02 plate Discovery which I drove once and hated - everything is in the wrong place somehow (gearstick, door handles). Any thoughts anyone? Thanks.
For exactly the same reason as you, my daughter has just purchased this car will take loads of kids too. She loves it.

VW Toureg is a great car for the snow. My cousin has one along with 3 kids, we live in Scotland in the country and it manages through the snow no problem.
Thanks all - need seven seats so the Citroen is out (and sorry, I don't like the look of it). Never thought of Kia, will keep it mind when we get around to changing the Chrysler.
