removal of car radio!HELP!

i need to remove the radio from my VW polo, R.reg(1997) so i can put in my CD player however i cannot seem to get the radio out. aparently i need some sort of key. if so what sort of key? where could i get one? and how much is it going to cost? thanx.

Normally, you would need two metal prong type things (sorry I can't be more specific in their description) that you slide in each side of the stereo, the 'prongs' release the metal tabs that hold the stereo in place. I'm not sure if you would require a specific tool for your make/model of car. I would try Halfords or your local car accessory shop.
yes, your local car accessory shop should have them, though there are about 3 different types.  They are pretty cheap, definitely under �5 (prolly �2).
