please can some one help need a radio code

had to disconect the batery on a grand scenic and the stereo has asked me for a code can some one please help ive managed to get the serial no. from the back and it is,

ebay will find you something. You will need serial no and model.

Can you contact the previous owner of the vehicle as the radio code should have been passed on to you? I appreciate that spare keys, radio codes, and the like to go astray as vehicles change hands.

I have been told that if you put in your freezer for24hrs you can put any code you like in it. Apparently thieves do this.

It should actually be entered in the Warranty Servicing white handbook on about page 3 with the VIN, dealer info, etc.
