help with my megane

I have a renault megane coupe 1.6 and it has desided to start huffing and loseing power.The exhaust emissions light came on and started flashing.I think it could be the cat blocked or somthing but im not sure ne ideas would be greatfully recived

Hi Ian, It could be the Lambda sensor. P.S. are you an Ian Bob from Bucks who used to work at Oxford Instruments?

hi no im not im afraid.thanx for the answer but the problem was the coil packs apparently there quite prone to them.
