xsara picasso remote central locking fob

RCL fob has stopped working, have replaced battery as per drivers handbook but still not working. CL works proper off key in lock so
I'm assuming the fob is faulty but was wondering if there is a fuse or relay in the car which might need looking at. Diagram of fuses in handbook doesn't mention one though. Any ideas welcome thanks

Pop into your nearest Citroen dealership tomorrow, and ask them.

not usually any fuses involved in keyfob remote electronics, may need reprograming.....

I'm not taking the pizz here Search, do you put the battery in the right way? Is it the correct battery? clean the contact points within the fob.

I agree with chas.

I recently changed the battery in my Renault Scenic key fob. Afterwards I followed the procedure for reprogramming in the drivers handbook. Citroen may be similar.

quite often there is a limited amount of time to change the batterie(s) before it loses its programe, seconds rather than minutes...
