"stop script" and "page unresponsive, kill page"

Stop Script" Or "Page Unresponsive, Kill Page"

i keep getting these messages on my mini 7" eeepc asus 701SD laptop and its driving me mad

on my normal size laptop i only get them now and again, but it seems to be happening almost hourly.

any ideas why and what i can do to minimise this?

i am using chrome, and win XP.

1. Check that you've got the latest version of Chrome ;
2. Clear your cache & cookies.
