Just had my alloys refurbed by this company, took son in law when I went to pick the car up and he noticed a couple of marks that shouldn't have been there. I did not pay (because their machine was bust), but they are phoning me for payment in the morning, what are my rights regarding having the wheels put to how they promised me they would be, can I with hold payment until this has been done?

I pointed out the marks, well sil did, they said all they could do was redo them, which I would be satisfied with, couldn't leave the car with them today though because I need it tomorrow.

snags

If the wheels are not 'how they promised you they would be' then don't pay until they are, especially as they've admitted they're not up to standard as they've said they'll redo them.
