I cant understand why people are so keen on Astons, for me there are too many Ford  genes in them now to make them truly special. A DB6 would be a wonderful thing to own however. Maserati are now back on track, after making cack cars for decades, (biturbo anyone? thought not), thanks to being bought and run by Ferrari, and the Coupe is a great drive, but still not exactly beautiful. The 911 turbo is probably the most usable every day supercar in history, but perhaps in a bizarre way its just too efficient, too German even. For me, Lambos always look like the sort of car Wayne Rooney would drive, so their RIGHT out!  No, for me, like any right thinking male with petrol in his veins it has to be a Ferrari, almost any one will do, but if I had to choose just one, then a 355 please, in red, naturally.

Golf GTi. Far more practical, perfect round town and on open road. There is a dealer within a mile of me. People won't think I'm having a mid-life crisis. I'll be able to spend the change on something far more worthwhile. And I'm not just saying this to be different; I have owned a top-spec TVR in the past and speak from experience. I have also driven the latest Golf GTi with the DSG gearbox and can confidently state that it is one of the greatest all-round cars.
