Son in law has a Nova on a K plate, he has just down a journey of approx 30 miles and noticed that the temp gauge was right up, this dropped slightly and then went up again, as he is wanting to take it to Santa Pod this weekend, any ideas would be most welcome. The engine in it is an X14XE tigra.

I know it's quite a big engine, so maybe, I will ask when they get back.
I used to have a Vauxhall Calibra with the same engine.
Question Author
What's so special about them then?
I'ts Vauxhalls early 16 valve engine 150 bhp from 1993 or 1994 Vauxhall updated this engine and called it Eco Tec this was less powerfull 135 bhp. Also the earlier 16 valve engine was much more tunable to get more power out of it, if this makes any sense to you.
