Red V5
More than 2 years since I posted this:-

DVLA seem to be taking some action – today I received a Red V5 document for my vehicle (with instructions to destroy the old Blue V5).
I should think that by now, the Crims have cashed in on all 120,000+ stolen blank V5 forms (better late than never).
So if purchasing a 2nd hand car – insist on a Red V5 document.

Ps I received the new style V5 about 6 months ago, it seems to be done when you change car/alphabetically as the syste gets through to your surname.
