i had new Hyundai gear cables fitted 10 months ago, believe it or not less than 6000 miles and they've gone again, cost me £240 at local garage then.
they are being replaced under warranty by the local garage and the main Hyundai dealer has taken photos of the cables in situ ,
should the labour cost be covered by the warranty
i have yet to get hold of the local garage manager to ask that, the car has been in a week waiting for parts, but want to get any info on labour charges before seeing him
thanks in advance for any replies

The labour charges shouldn't be as expensive as the main dealership, but as to how much they will be I couldn't say. A lot will depend on how many hours the job takes.

i should have said in my post
will the labour charges be covered by the warranty?
Dunno deggers, but i took my hyundai to the dealers today to get some work done that was covered by the warranty and I didn't have to pay a penny.
As far as I am aware as you paid for the work to be done, anything in connection with the replacement should be free under the warranty.
