what a nice traffic warden.... phew!
Nibble and I were just in town picking up something heavy from Argos - OK it's a pedestrian precinct but everyone parks there when collecting.....
Just paid, nibble ran outside because the traffic warden was starting to take photos of my car..... traffic warden said "if you move it now, I won't ticket you" - so he did, and afterwards TW told me the times we CAN park there...
Nice to meet someone who's not a complete Jobsworth, after all!

Most of them are nice and friendly but one in particular is nasty in the extreme. I know that there job is to keep the traffic moving - but our little city isn't exactly gridlocked and super busy.
They guy is just asking to be thumped. There are ways of dealing with the public in a firm manner without being downright cruel and nasty.

You have nicer traffic wardens that we do. I parked up recently and then sat in my car (in the rain) collecting the right amount of change for the ticket machine. Then walked half a mile to the the sodding machine. By the time I got back the ticket warden was taking my details. She was an absolute sodding cow. Eventually I persuaded her to feel the bonnet and the fact that the engine was warm. I don't think she had any intention of ticketing me, she just wanted a row. So she got one.
