I've just been reading about a BMW driver charged with driving on an "A" class road at 156mph while using a mobile phone.  In spite of video evidence he was found by the magistrate to be not guilty because of a legal technicality.
Do you think that the police should appeal against this decision which on the surface appears outrageous?

Doesn't matter when we get "road use charging" black boxes installed in our cars they'll be able to tell if we exceed the speed limit as well and we'll get fines sent through the post just like road tax fines!

why do we have a governement telling us how much they are blowing of taxpayers money recruiting more police, when they should be changing all the stupid laws that let criminals get away with ridiculous crimes and hard working honest people taken to court and treated like scum for not paying a tv licence or something non life threatning
The Law is an ass. Change it!
Police dont often appeal against a court decission. If they did it proves they have no faith in justice system.
