Not a question but just in case anyone else is in need of something similar. I have been with Churchill for a number of years now and yes I too have had moans about them and other insurance companies, but this year wanted to see how much it would cost to change the insurance from my name with other half been a named driver to her as main driver and me as named one. Some companies wanted hundreds of pounds more. I contacted Churchill and explained that I don't drive often now and how much would it cost to change policy around the other way expecting it to cost quite a bit. To my surprise they said that if I was willing to give up my 9 years no claims with them and give them to other half they could do that for me. Everything on the policy is the same including her getting a no claims protection in it and to top it all off they even gave her 8 weeks free insurance which brought the renewal price down by over £50. Nice to see something nice about insurance for a change and that some of them are willing to help.

Yep, makes a nice change to read about an insurance company not trying to fleece someone, well done theshedman.

Yes tonyav it was nice to get a cheaper price too. As other half drives a lot more than me these days we thought it would be best to change it over to her name just to be on the safe side.
