audi a4 1996 make brake pads

hi everyone i just replaced my front brake pads

now the abs light comes on and hand brake light flashes

maybe a sensor on the brakes that u have accidently disconnected and havent replaced properly, may not mean a fault but will show it as one

Don't know about the Audis but most cars hand brake light is the warning light for low fluid and worn pads.  I can't believe that a 9 yr old Audi doesn't have pad wear warining lights.
