snowsocks????
What's the consensus? good idea?
How long do you keep them on for? Are they just for getting out of a fix or do you keep them on.
I went sideways last winter so am worried about icy days ahead.

You cant use them on roads without ice or snow as they will rip apart, and they are limited to 30 miles an hour, They are usually covered in crap and dirt when you take them off and you need a big bag to put them into in your boot to stop your boot getting covered. however they offer fantastic grip on snow and ice Basically they are great for getting out of your non salted...

My wife scared herself silly a couple of years back in the snow in an old VW golf sliding sideways down a residential street, when she finally stopped she put the snow socks on and drove out with no problems. well worth the investment, This year however i have put winter tyres on the BMW, it will be interesting to see how they perform. however i still have the snowsocks in the boot!
